The clubs and jazz fests have been great, but we feel most at home at seriously alternative rock festivals. Places where you hardly know anyone on the roster, but where you can hear smouldering, bubbling music wherever you go.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFever\u201d \u00e8 il titolo del loro album, composto da 12 tracce immerse nel jazz in tutte le sue declinazioni. Un album ricco di sonorit\u00e0 incredibili, caratterizzate dalla maestria ed esperienza apportata da ogni componente della band.<\/p>\n<p>Uno dei fan pi\u00f9 accaniti dei Taxiwars \u00e8 Ashley Kahn del New Yorker, probabilmente uno degli scrittori jazz pi\u00f9 influenti del pianeta.\u201cI already knew dEUS, but I love TaxiWars. They combine lyrics, poetry and jazz with a rock intensity \u2013 it reminds me of New York\u2019s answer to hip-hop in the late eighties. They are not replicating it; they are drawing from that same kind of energy. It\u2019s great.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tom Barman \u00e8 frontman e leader indiscusso dei dEUS dal 1989, con cui ha venduto oltre un milione di dischi. Il sassofonista Robin Verheyen si trasferisce a New York, nove anni fa dove si \u00e8 costruito una reputazione come uno dei pi\u00f9 interessanti giovani talenti del mondo del jazz e della musica classica. Ha suonato con artisti del calibro di Marc Copland, Ravi Coltrane, Narciso, Gary Peacock, e Joey Baron. Il bassista Nicolas Thys \u00e8 ormai stabilmente un pilastro delle scene jazz fiamminghe prima di trasferirsi a New York nel 1999. Ha girato e \/ o registrato con leggende come Lee Konitz, Mal Waldron, Toots Thielemans e Zap Mama.
